3 Ton Pneumatic Toggle Action Press (Model 1030 ET)

The TOGGLE-AIRE ® Model 1030 ET, 3 Ton press is a fully pneumatic toggle action press available packaged for two hand, anti tie down operation or as a component in your automated applications. As a single stroke press, it is supplied with one of our SYNCHRO-SIG Series Two Hand Actuators, ( See the SS-DM and SS-OT Actuators in the Accessories Section) and all control components necessary for two hand, single stroke operation.

You can choose either our BEM or CSR-G2 valving systems to best suit your application. Both systems insure completion of a positive, accurate stroke every time the press is activated. The ram will not return to the top of its stroke until you reach the ram depth you have set and the press has developed its rated strength. The CSR-G2 systems features an instantly reversing ram should the operator remove one or both hands from the two hand actuator. Both systems guard against inattention of operator, loss of air pressure, improper loading, etc., and help maintain the quality of the work being performed. While producing a powerful, shockless squeeze, our control systems also insure the accuracy and precision of the stroke with repeatability being plus or minus .001".

Additional features include fully muffled exhaust for quiet operation, easily adjustable ram speed control, a "set-up" valve which holds the ram down while tools are being set, and the availability of automatic air ejection. The ram adjusting screw located at the top of the press simplifies tool depth adjustment and provides an ample range of shut height adjustment.

The Model 1030 ET, 3 Ton Press is completely compatible with automated lines, and with optional control systems has been cycled up to 250 strokes per minute in such operations. Our engineering department is available to supply technical information to OEMs as well as in-house machine builders if you are considering the press as a component in your cell or automated line.
